Steve Breaston Tweets Out Against Doubters

As a free agent, Steve Breaston has the opportunity to sign his first solid contract. While most fans here in our community believe he is valuable and is as good and tough as any receiver out there, there are plenty of detractors. They say he has only performed because of Kurt Warner or because he was a number three option and going up against lesser quality defensive backs.

Some don't think he is worth the money he is going to get paid. Monday on Twitter he spoke out for a few minutes. Read on for what he said.

I am biased. He is one of my favorite players. But I get one thing out of these tweets. He will not be one of those "fat and happy" players after getting a contract. He is going to work to prove he deserves it.

I sure hope it is here because I really don't want it to be for another team, especially one the Cardinals might play.
