Arizona Cardinals Preseason Schedule Reviewed

No, this is not new news, but with the advent of the real offseason, and due to the length of the NFL lockout, it is certainly worth it to look again at the Arizona Cardinals preseason schedule. Since the lockout ended when it did, we are fortunate that we will not lose any of the games. League wide, the only game that was lost was the Hall of Fame game.

Hit the jump for a look at the schedule coming up.

Preseason football will begin in the second week of August. Here's a full look at the Cardinals' preseason schedule:

Thursday, August 11th at Oakland Raiders (7:00 p.m.)

Friday, August 19th at Green Bay Packers (5:00 p.m.)

Saturday, August 27th vs. San Diego Chargers (7:00 p.m.)

Thursday, September 1st vs. Denver Broncos (6:00 p.m.)

For for all the talk of a shortened preseason, it is important to note that camp is really no shorter than normal. Neither is the preseason. The difference is that the team has not had the other stuff like minicamp and OTAs to get the players going. Likewise, veterans signing new deals cannot practice until August 4.

If you are one who likes to take road trips, that Green Bay contest is a great time of year to head on over to Wisconsin before it reaches subzero temperatures.

If Arizona ends up with Kyle Orton, the Denver contest could be intriguing, at least as much as it can be for a preseason game in which Orton might play a quarter.

If you don't already have tickets to preseason games, you can take a look at ones that are available.
