In case you haven't heard yet, former Cardinals Quarterback Josh McCown has just signed with the San Fransisco 49ers to be their third string QB. Last season he played in the UFL under former Cardinals coach Denny Green (whose most famous moment will be posted on here sometime during the regular season as well) with the Hartford Colonials. He completed 114 of 202 pass attempts for 1,463 yards, 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
This was also enough to LEAD the UFL with a 79.3 passer rating. Yes, you read that correctly, a passer rating of 79.3 is the best that the UFL can offer.
While McCown was never a great Quarterback in Arizona (or with the rest of the NFL for that matter), he always seemed like a decent person. And from everything that has been said by people that covered the team, he was a good person. So you can't really hate him for not playing that well on what wasn't really a good team during his time here.
So, in honor of him going to the 49ers. Here is a video of his finest moment as a Cardinal, with the call by Vikings radio announcer Paul Allen who is one of the most entertaining people to listen to when something goes wrong for the team they commentate for.
