NFL Preseason Week 2: Arizona Cardinals/Green Bay Packers Open Thread

The Arizona Cardinals are at it again in the preseason, facing the Green Bay Packers. Of course, the last time the two teams faced off was a classic. However, the two teams find themselves in much different situations. The Packers, defending Super Bowl champions, have stability and a bona fide superstar quarterback (Aaron Rodgers) that replaced their last one (Brett Favre).

The Cardinals are at the hopeful stage. After losing Kurt Warner, the Cards now have Kevin Kolb. Whether he will be the franchise guy to man the controls of the team for many years to come is to be determined, but the optimism abounds.

As the teams look ahead to the regular season, the Cardinals are using this preseason game as a sort of measuring stick to see where they are. I don't think that they will look more than at the beginning of the game, but it isn't going to make or break the season ahead.

Anyway, enjoy the game. Comment, react and be a community.
