Week 3 of the preseason is here. Hopefully, you have signed up for a fantasy league. The first two ROTB leagues filled up and a third was formed. I don't know what happened with that one, so maybe Rootsports can update us.
The fantasy draft for the first league is coming up this Sunday morning. Note that if you are unable to man the draft yourself, you do not have to be present. You can edit your predraft settings to set your draft board.
In related Cardinals fantasy news, Beanie Wells should now hold greater value. In a recent radio interview, I discounted the fantasy value of Wells, but the year-ending injury to Ryan Williams changes things.
We now know without a doubt that, barring injury, Beanie will get almost all the carries in the running game. We must also remember that he is on a mission to prove his worth in the league this year.
Also, if we are to look into the offensive performance of the first team offense against the Green Bay Packers, he had 11 carries in three series and the team sustained two drives of over 10 plays. This bodes well for Wells and the running game.
So if you were like me just a week ago, take another look at Wells. He will be worth much more now than he was going to.
