It is now Halftime and the Cardinals have a 24-17 lead over the Chargers. Kevin Kolb is having a good game going 8 of 16 for 166 yards including an 80 yard bomb to Larry Fitzgerald. Patrick Peterson also returned an Interception for a Touchdown, and Andre Roberts had a 34 yard Touchdown run on a reverse. The Defense started off well too, but Phillip Rivers and the Chargers offense started to get it together in the second quarter.
Kolb played two series against Oakland and three against Green Bay. The offense improved from one game to the next. Hopefully that can continue. We will get to see him work the two-minute offense at some point.
We will also get the treat (?) to see Brodie Croyle in action, now that John Skelton is out because of his sprained ankle and Max Hall is on injured reserve after clearing waivers.
For the second week in a row, the defense will get to show what it is made of against one of the NFL's best offenses.
