We should all make him one after how the run defense played.
After a drive that only took 40 seconds off the clock when the Cards had the lead.
Honestly we have the single worst playcaller in the NFL right now, We are now forced to throw 3rd down too. STUPID.. Run, Run, Pass is better than this and perfect for this situation. Unless we can Run, Run, Run

Play calling
Honestly this is so frustrating. First half literally pass plays called all the time and we’re lucky to score 7 points. WE come out in the second half and run and dominate. Now when the game is on the line and we want to drain the clock we start passing and its a turn over on downs. When are we going to play to our strength and RUN the football, our offensive playcalling is handing the ’skins this game.

Whis will talk about the redzone defnese, how it is always a tough trip out east and gloss over all the huge negatives without even mentioning his horrid playcalling.
Someone needs to get on the tweet machine to Jurecki/Somers to get them to ask the real questions, why is our playcalling dumb enough to call a passing play on 2nd and 7 with the lead in the ast 5 minutes of the fourth quarter with a back averaging over 6 YPC.

The Issues with the Cardinals...
Today was a winnable game. And it makes me mad because it was within our grasp. Here is what I see are the main issues with the Cardinals right now that are preventing us from getting ahead in games.
1. I think the largest issue the team faces is the offense line. They lack discipline in the protection schemes and/or they utilize poor technique whereby opposing defenses are able to leverage underneath (especially the tackles) and push the line back into Kolb. This is even happening with our center from time to time. It causes major disruption in the passing game. The lack of discipline always shows in offensive line penalties, as well. Movement, false starts etc. I definitely think it is time to start holding Russ Grimm more to account in this. In my opinion, he is not getting the job done. For being with the team five plus years the offensive line should be gaining better continuity than they historical have been. And the Cardinals MUST draft numerous offensive linemen next year. But is Russ Grimm the guy to develop new talent?
2. Give Ray Horton some forbearance. The defensive is not giving up horrendous amounts of points like last year and I think the play calling is good. Bill Davis and Clancy Pendergast were horrible defensive cordinators. But the second problem is the lack of a pass rush from the defensive line. This forces us to bring safeties, extra linebackers and even corners… putting exceptional pressure on the corners even when we are sucessful getting pressure. But several times today, I saw where the blitz was arriving a half a second too late. That’s eternity in football. If we are going to take men out of the box and bring them, we have to get to the QB. And when we are not bringing the blitz, the defensive line cannot allow 5 or 6 seconds for the QB to get rid of the ball.
Even one extra second means a reciever can cover up to 5-6 yards in pattern and 7,8 or even 9 yards on a fly pattern. That’s plenty of extra time to get behind the safeties…who still seem to be getting caught looking upfield and/or cheating for run containment.
That is the fundmental issue with the defense in my book. It starts on our defensive line.
