Arizona Cardinals Injury Update From Thursday Practice

In my haste yesterday to update everyone about Beanie Wells and his hamstring injury, I forgot to mention the others who were on the injury report on Thursday.

Apparently, Wells' injury is not serious. He tweeted yesterday afternoon that he was okay and he was on the Big Red Rage and also stated that again. However, there were other injuries. In fact, a couple of players were downgraded.

The two players that were downgraded were tight end Jim Dray (pectoral injury) and receiver Chansi Stuckey (hamstring). They were limited in practice on Wednesday, but did not practice at all on Thursday.

Stuckey's injury, as real as it might be, seems really convenient after his late-game fumble. Too bad damaged pride is not a listed injury because he likely would not have come in.

Wells and Joey Porter were added to the list as Wells hurt his hamstring and Porter had a knee flare up.

Paris Lenon, who was limited earlier in the week practiced fully.

In good news, Daryl Washington improved enough to participate on a limited basis in practice. Ken Whisenhunt is optimistic that he may play. "I would think that where he (Washington) is, the way he studied, the way he's done in preseason without making a lot of mistakes that he could certainly go in there and play well (despite missing practice time)."

The other two players that were limited were LaRod Stephens-Howling and DeMarco Sampson
