Sorry this is up a little bit later than normal. Anyway, here are your links for this morning, including some stuff on a minor injury to Beanie Wells.
I was at the Big Red Rage last night with Beanie as the guest, he looked and sounded fine to me from what I saw. Little bit sleepy, but he looked like he was okay.

Word From the Birds Blog - Beanie added to injury report
Running back Beanie Wells was added to the injury report today, listed as limited because of a hamstring problem apparently suffered today. The injury report just came out, long after locker room access and coach Ken Whisenhunt’s meeting with the media, so there won’t be any further info. Certainly tomorrow figures to be an important day for Wells, who has been playing so well in the first couple of games. Any injury issue with Wells, whether it keeps him out of a game or not, has to give the Cards pause. That’s why the season-ending injury to rookie Ryan Williams was such a blow. Veteran Chester Taylor had just one carry last week in his first game as a Card (it went for no gain). I am still curious to see Alfonso Smith get a chance in a game that counts. Running back LaRod Stephens-Howling (hand) is still limited.

Arizona Cardinals DE Darnell Dockett: Don't be a 'punk'

Arizona Cardinals working to execute screen pass
When it works, a screen pass is a brilliantly choreographed piece of football deception. When it fails, it looks like something the weird kid down the street drew up in the dirt. Some teams do it well, others don't. Put the Cardinals in the latter category, although they're working to change that.

Final Word: NFC West - NFC West Blog - ESPN
Larry Fitzgerald road show resumes. The Arizona Cardinals' Pro Bowl receiver caught a combined 23 passes for 251 yards in road games against Seattle over the 2008 and 2009 seasons. His production at the former Qwest Field dropped to three catches and 30 yards without a viable quarterback last season, but Kevin Kolb's addition puts Fitzgerald in position to pick up where he left off two years ago. The key variable this time is whether the Seahawks' improved size in the secondary can help them better combat Fitzgerald. Cornerback Brandon Browner, all 6-foot-4 of him, needs to fare better against Fitzgerald than he did against Pittsburgh's speedier Mike Wallace.
Week 3 is the perfect opportunity for the Arizona Cardinals defense - ArizonaSports.com
This weekend bad meets worst. I'm picking bad. If there was ever a Sunday the Arizona Cardinals needed to play a bad offense it would be this one.

NFC West Penalty Watch: Fines looming - NFC West Blog - ESPN
Penalties were costlier than usual for NFC West players in Week 2. Seattle Seahawks defensive end Raheem Brock's disputed $15,000 fine for hitting Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was not the only one levied this week. I'm tracking down a few others for Friday, including a sure fine for the facemask penalty against Arizona Cardinals tight end Jeff King at Washington. King was trying to save a touchdown return on special teams. There were nine personal-foul penalties against NFC West players and their opponents in Week 2. Penalties go against individuals, but sometimes responsibility is shared.
