Arizona Cardinals/Seattle Seahawks Inactive List: Beanie Wells Is Out, Chester Taylor Gets The Start

It's almost time for kickoff between the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks at Century Link Field in Seattle. Just like every week, there will be some players that are unable to go due to injury or for depth reasons.

The biggest surprise of the afternoon is that Cardinals running back, Beanie Wells, will be unable to go.

Here's the inactive list for the Cards:

  • RB Beanie Wells
  • WR Chansi Stuckey
  • QB John Skelton
  • RB LaRod Stephens-Howling
  • OT D'Anthony Batiste
  • TE Jim Dray
  • DE Ronald Talley
With Beanie being unable to go with a hamstring injury, Chester Taylor will get the start. The Cardinals are quite thin at running back this week, as Alfonso Smith will be the only backup to Taylor. Many have speculated that Stuckey is sitting for disciplinary reasons, but Darren Urban tweeted that he has a hamstring issue as well.

Dray is still out with a pectoral injury and Stephens-Howling has his arm in a cast.

Here are the Seahawks' inactive players:

  • QB Josh Portis
  • WR Kris Durham
  • FB Michael Robinson
  • CB Byron Maxwell
  • G Robert Gallery
  • T Jarriel King
  • DT Al Woods
Obviously, the big name here that could make a difference is Gallery. He is one of the more solid players on the shaky Seattle offensive line, so him still being out of duty is a big loss for the Seahawks. Hopefully the Cardinals can capitalize on his absence.

Daryl Washington looks to be good to go for the Cardinals today. His presence at linebacker was missed against the Redskins, so it will be good to have him back.
