Manning in Arizona makes sense - ArizonaSports.com
It sounds so good doesn't it? "And starting at quarterback for the Cardinals, Peyton Manneeeeng!!!" But before you Cardinals fans start saving up for those red #18 jerseys, think about this: assuming the Colts do cut him loose, and assuming he gets a clean bill of health by March 8th, Manning might have a concern or two about coming to the desert.

Here's how NFC West teams can recover - NFC West Blog - ESPN
It's only fair to expand our recent San Francisco 49ers discussion to the rest of the NFC West. As noted previously, the 49ers led the NFL in turnover differential during their 13-3 season. The question then became whether a natural evening out in that department might drag down the team's record in 2012 without improvements in other areas, notably on offense. The chart expands the turnover-differential information to show all NFC West teams.

Suns bounce back, hold off Grizzlies in a home thriller
Jared Dudley made two free throws with 3.3 seconds remaining to lift the Phoenix Suns to an 86-84 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Dudley finished with a season-high 20 points, Steve Nash added 21 and Marcin Gortat finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Arizona basketball comeback falls short vs. Washington
As they tiptoed down another frightful wire Saturday, with a frenzied "white-out" crowd on hand at McKale Center and an East Coast primetime audience watching on ESPN, the Arizona Wildcats had exactly what they wanted. Freshman point guard Josiah Turner, the player newly identified by UA coach Sean Miller as perhaps the team's best go-to prospect at the end of a close game, had the ball with the Wildcats down by two and seconds to go. He drove inside for nearly a clean look at the basket just before the buzzer sounded. Then Washington's explosive Tony Wroten Jr. lept up, swatted Turner's shot away, and the Huskies held on to a 69-67 win.

ASU basketball snaps three-game losing streak with 71-67 win over Washington State
ASU's first-half of the Pac-12 season was a disaster. It included suspensions, dismissals and an injury to its best player. Fittingly, the Sun Devils closed it out in a fashion few expected. Carrick Felix scored 20 points and the Sun Devils moved the ball as well as they have all season in Saturday's 71-67 win over Washington State in front of 6,224 fans at Wells Fargo Arena.
