Arizona Cardinals Sign 9 Players To Future Contracts

The Arizona Cardinals signed nine players to their offseason roster today, apparently to "future" deals. Many are from the practice squad, but a few came as free agents. Hit the jump to meet our new Arizona Cardinals.

Six of the Arizona's seven practice squad members, were signed with the exception of wide receiver Jaymar Johnson. The six signed were, C Ryan Bartholomew, CB Korey Lindsey, DT Ricky Lumpkin, RB William Powell, TE Steven Skelton, and LB Quan Sturdivant.

The other three players were free agents. G Chris Stewart who spent some time with the Jets last season, LB Antonio Coleman, spent a little time with the Bills and Giants, and TE Martell Webb, who went through the Eagles, Jets, and Bucs.

Chris Stewart: His collegiate career was in Notre Dame. He started 22 of 28 games which is a Notre Dame offensive record. Primarily a right guard, but is a good nose tackle, and a solid left guard.

Antonio Coleman: His collegiate career was with the Auburn Tigers. Was Coaches All-SEC First Team. Named to Auburn’s All-Decade Team for the 2000s… finished his Tiger career ranked third all-time in sacks with 24.5, including 9.0 during his senior year – a mark that ranks tied for eighth all-time in school history… totaled 151 tackles (95 solo). A defensive end turned OLB, and is a solid pass rusher.

Martell Webb: His collegiate career was with Michigan. He played in 38 games, catching 9 passes for 111 yards, and 2 TD's. Solid blocker, just not targeted a lot.
