The Cardinals made a couple of roster transactions on Tuesday, adding tackle Pat McQuistan and cutting cornerback Crezdon Butler, who was just re-signed last week. You may remember McQuistan from when he was on the Cardinals for the first three weeks of the season. Butler, on the other hand, was with the team earlier this season before being cut and heading to the Washington Redskins. Once cut from there, he re-signed with the Cardinals last week.
As Darren Urban notes, this speaks volumes to the progressing health of Michael Adams and Greg Toler. Both players were inactive for the Bills game, but cutting Butler must mean that their health is being restored. With the struggles along the offensive line, it made sense for the team to bring McQuistan back as both insurance and as an extra body in case of injury.
Also, the Cardinals now have two former Sun Devils on their practice squad. The team signed Kerry Taylor four weeks ago after wide receiver Gerell Robinson was cut for violating the league's drug enhancement policy. Taylor, a former Sun Devil, is still on the team.
Unfortunately, the Cards were forced to move Isaiah Williams to the IR, which made way for Robinson's return. He has served his suspension and has now been re-added to the practice squad.
