New, comments

The Cardinals hopes for a perfect season were snapped against the Rams.

However, this does not mean the entire game was a lost cause. For example, it provided some extremely good commentary in the gamethread! In this week's Gamethread Highlights post, we take a look at the ROTB communities take on the loss in St. Louis.

He more or less hit it right on the head.

Yes!
Touchdown!
NOOOOOO
WTF
D-Wash!
PP!
BS call
Start Skelton!
Start Kolb!
We suck again!

The beauty behind "Cardinals logic".

I dont know what happened to our pass D

First we contain Brady and Vick, then we get killed by Bradford and Tannehill

This basically sums up the Cardinals struggles in the game.

The Oline is definatly the weakness of this team

Forces Kolb to make decsions way to quickly, which leads to not seeing open recivers

Anyone else thinking this when they announced that Steven Jackson's final year was voided?

Problem isnt the RB

its the O-Line. Wells, Williams, LSH if fine

A calm response in a gamethread? A rare sighting indeed.

Relax everyone

It’s still just 10-3
At least Kolb hasn’t made any huge mistakes.
Lets get a defense stop or turnover right now.

No more night. I have seen the light. Let it shine on bright.
HANG HIM HIGHER!!!

I'm sure he'd take both happily.

Basically how it feels like.

404 The O-line you are looking for does not exist

You may have a faulty gameplan or playcalling or unqualified personnel.
Please go set your hair on fire and turn off the TV to solve the problem.

Sarcasm font, for anyone who missed it.

OMGS WERE GONNA GO 4-12, WE ARE HOPELESS AND SHOULD JUST GIVE UP NOW

Keeping the hope alive with some logic, always a good strategy.

The lions scored 14 points in 18 seconds, right?

By that equation we can score about… 686 points. Yes.

We definitely wish Ryan Williams a speed recovery with whatever happened to him.

Ryan Williams health most important thing right now

To sum up that link, one of the members on this site, Cschiemann, correctly predicted that the team would go 4-0 before dropping their first game to the Rams. He deserves a huge shout out for that spot-on prediction.

Just sayin, this is creepy

At least we're winning in something...

First NFL team in 9 years to allow 8 plus sacks in 2 consecutive games

last team to do that was…. 2003 Cardinals.

WHAT A SHAME

The O-line situation HAS to be sorted out. I can't stress this enough.

the earth is probably fatigued from Kevin Kolb hitting it so many times.

And finally, a quote from Daryn Colledge to sum up the debacle in St. Louis.

"We're not the prettiest girl at the dance. We're like a 'one' or a 'two' and we can't even dance.'"
