Wednesday, as is almost always the case, the Arizona Cardinals released their first injury report of the week. The wide receivers are a bit banged up right now. Andre Roberts, Early Doucet and LaRon Byrd all popped up no the list and Roberts did not practice at all, nursing an ankle injury. Doucet was limited with his ribs and Byrd also was limited because of a head injury, which he sustained on Sunday against the Rams.
Two players were listed but fully practiced. Both Kerry Rhodes and long snapper Mike Leach have issues with their backs, but not enough to keep them from practicing.
Calais Campbell was limited, but is optimistic of his recovery. Running back Beanie Wells was limited because of his knee, but that was supposedly more preventative than because of soreness. They are just limiting the stress on it. Also limited were Kevin Kolb (ribs), defensive back Justin Bethel (shoulder) and running back William Powell (shoulder).
Absent was running back LaRod Stephens-Howling, which is a surprise because it seemed that his injured rubs were a problem on Sunday.
Over on the Jets side of things, Tim Tebow was limited, while Mark Sanchez fully practiced despite an issue with his back.
Defensive back Aaron Berry (quad) and receiver Clyde Gates (concussion) were held out of practice.
Bart Scott, Jeremy Kerley, Sione Po'uha, and Chaz Schillens were limited.
RB Bilial Powell, RB Joe McKnight, G Matt Slauson and S LaRon Landry fully practiced.
