NFL picks against the spread: Patriots, Texans are big to cover in victory

A look at the Week 15 games against the spread.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Week 15 has some great matchups, but when considering the Vegas lines, it is always a different way to look at games. Here are our picks against the spread for Sunday's Week 15 games.

New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons (-1): The defending champs are on their late season run. Atlanta loves playing at home, but it will be the G-men today. Take the Giants and the points.

Denver Broncos (-3) at Baltimore Ravens: Peyton Manning is just showing us that all he does is win 10+ games every season. He faces the Ravens with a new OC and a defense missing so many key players. Here you give away the points and expect a Manning win by at least a touchdown.

Green Bay Packers (-3) at Chicago Bears: The Bears need a win in the worst way to keep their playoff hopes alive (weird to think since they started 7-1). However, The Pack is rolling and will continue to do so. Take the Packers and give the points.

Washington Redskins at Cleveland Browns (-2): RG3 will not play. It will be Kirk Cousins. The Browns are actually playing decently. Take the home team and give the points.

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (-10): The Colts are the unfortunate opponent that faces the texans after getting demolished by the Pats. They are going to bounce back. Texans in a rout. Give the points, even though it is a lot.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Miami Dolphins (-7): Well, this is not an exciting game by any means, but Miami is much more talented and is playing at home. However, don't underestimate Chad Henne's motivation playing against his former team. We're going underdog and taking the points.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints (-4): Just like the last time out, the Bucs defend the run so well, but it doesn't matter. New Orleans throws the ball. Take the home team and give the points.

Minnesota Vikings at St. Louis Rams (-3): Can anyone really think that the Rams are going to keep winning? Not with Adrian Peterson. We go underdog here.

Detroit Lions (-7) at Arizona Cardinals: It is hard to consider taking the Cards in any game with how they have been playing. However, every strength of the Lions matches up with the Cardinals strengths. That means a close game. Take the home team and give the touchdown.

Seattle Seahawks (-6) at Buffalo Bills: Seattle is just not great on the road. When they do win, it takes a fantastic finish. They're playing Canada this time. Take the points and go with the Toronto Bills.

Carolina Panthers at San Diego Chargers (-3): Cam Newton is hot right now and the Chargers are improved. But you can't trust them. Take the points and the Panthers.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-3) at Dallas Cowboys: Both teams need this game badly. But the Cowboys are going to keep up with the playoff push. Take the home dogs here.

Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders (-3): Seriously? Don't bet this game. No money is worth it. Who do we like? The Raiders, only because it doesn't make sense to wager on KC.

San Francisco 49ers at New England Patriots (-5): You have a rookie QB up against Tom Brady in Foxboro. Plus the Pats just "exposed" the Texans. They will do the same to the Niners. We roll with the Pats, giving up the points.
