NFL Inactives, Cardinals vs. Jets: Tim Tebow out for Jets, Heap, Campbell, Roberts will not play for Cards

A look at who will not be in the game for both teams.

Al Messerschmidt

The Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets will kick off later this morning, but we know who will not be playing for both teams. For the Cardinals, one player that the coaching staff had hoped would play is defensive end Calais Campbell. However, he must have had either a small setback with his calf or they decided to give him another week to be completely healthy, as he is inactive. Also inactive, for what seems to be the 20,000th time, is tight end Todd Heap. He has not played since Week 2. Wide receiver Andre Roberts is also inactive, giving rookie Michael Floyd his first NFL start, and an opportunity to show why the team drafted him in the first round.

Also interesting to note is that Pat McQuistan and Senio Kelemete are both inactive on the offensive line, but recently signed center/guard Scott Wedige is active and is the primary backup for center Rich Ohrnberger.

For the Jets, the Cards will avoid the Tim Tebow crazy train. He is inactive, recovering from a rib injury.

Here are the lists for both teams:

Cardinals:

  • DE Calais Campbell
  • TE Todd Heap
  • G Senio Kelemete
  • QB Kevin Kolb
  • T Pat McQuistan
  • WR Andre Roberts
  • RB Alfonso Smith
Jets:

  • DB Aaron Berry
  • WR Clyde Gates
  • DT Damon Harrison
  • DE Ricky Sapp
  • G Caleb Schlauderaff
  • TE Hayden Smith
  • QB Tim Tebow
