I know we like the team to win, but had they lost to the woeful Lions, they would be in the top 5. We can argue about whether or not that would have been for the franchise as a whole, but it was definitely nice to have seen a win.
With the season finale against the San Francisco 49ers, even if the Cards lose, they may lose a spot or two in the draft because playing the Niners will improve their strength of schedule (the SOS in this order is based on opponents already played and not future opponents).
Can the Cards get an impact player at number eight? A quarterback? A running back? An offensive lineman? Or how about another receiver (*snickers*)?
Of course, the matter of who will be making the selection is yet another topic of discussion.
One more week left and we will soon be able to go into full coach and draft talk.
