Sunday's Week 16 NFL games provided one item of certainty for the Arizona Cardinals. For now, it is the only certain thing that stares the Cardinals in the face. They don't know who will be the general manager, the head coach, the quarterbacks or much else.
However, we do know the teams will play in 2013.
Next season, the team will play their division foes twice as always. They are scheduled to play the NFC South and the AFC South. They also play the last place team in the NFC North and NFC East. Those teams, like the Cardinals, are already locked in.
The result? The Cards will play the Philadelphia Eagles for the third straight season and the Detroit Lions again.
This is who they will play:
Home:
49ers, Seahawks, Rams, Colts, Texans, Panthers, Falcons, Lions
Road:
49ers, Seahawks, Rams, Titans, Jaguars, Saints, Buccaneers, Eagles
At a glance, that schedule is pretty manageable. Aside from the division road games, the one "really tough" game seems to be in New Orleans. Of course, unless the offense improves, we know that all those games, home or away, are tough games.
Here's to a better 2013!
