Cardinals vs 49ers injury report: Potter, Wilson out for Arizona; Vernon Davis, Justin Smith out for SF

A look at the injury situation for both teams after Wednesday's practice

Both the Arizona Cardinals and San Frabcisco 49ers are banged up going into the regular season finale. Arizona had six players who did not practice. San Francisco had three that were out.

For Arizona, starting left tackle Nate Potter sat out with an ankle injury and Adrian Wilson missed practice because he was sick. Also out were fullback Anthony Sherman (knee), receivers Early Doucet (concussion) and LaRon Byrd (knee) and offensive lineman Mike Gibson (calf).

Limited in practice were safety Rashad Johnson (hamstring), safety James Sanders (calf), defensive end Ronald Talley (ankle) and defensive tackle Dan Williams (hamstring).

Listed on the injury report, but who practiced fully was Greg Toler (hamstring).

For the Niners, they had 16 players listed in the injury report.

Did not practice: WR Mario Manningham (knee), TE Vernon Davis (concussion), LB Tavares Gooden (ill, ribs), DT Justin Smith (elbow)
