This is in no ways surprising, but it means that a decision could be coming soon. If what has been reported by Mike Jurecki before is true, this meeting will be to determine whether or not Whisenhunt will be willing to relinquish some of the power he has with roster decisions and the coaching staff. If he is not, it is expected that the team will part ways with him.
General manager Rod Graves is expected to be reassigned within the organization and Steve Keim is expected to be promoted as the new general manager.
