The news broke that the Arizona Cardinals fired general manager Rod Graves and head coach Ken Whisenhunt, which has been met with mostly positive reactions. However, Whisenhunt may not be unemployed for long. Local Phoenix radio guy Mike Muraco tweeted that Whisenhunt already may be the top candidate to replace Norv Turner as head coach of the San Diego Chargers.

In fact, he said in another tweet, that a "little bird" said to him that "they are already talking."
Also, he tweeted that assistant head coach/offensive line coach Russ Grimm is set to interview for a head coaching position as well.

Now, Murako has not been one to break NFL news locally in the past, so I don't know how much credence these reports have, but he has been in the Phoenix media scene for quite a while, so I won't completely discount it. It makes sense. Grimm was a candidate before and Whisenhunt has had enough success here that his coachingin 2013 would not surprise anyone.
