McNulty prepared to work with Cards' QBs - ArizonaSports.com
John McNulty spent the last three years with the Cardinals watching over the wide receivers, and he's seen how frustrated they've been with the quarterback position. He's now in charge of the quarterbacks, and he's ready to address some issues. He's been able to watch John Skelton and Kevin Kolb's progress with the Cardinals so he knows where to start with improvements.

Word From the Birds Blog - Horton’s coaching dream
Last month, defensive coordinator Ray Horton interviewed for the then-vacant head coaching job for the St. Louis Rams, the job later taken, as expected, by Jeff Fisher. It was a longshot, which Horton certainly knew, but it was a chance to do something he hadn’t done before, and eventually becoming a head coach is part of his ultimate dream.

Arizona Sports News:

Phoenix Suns' Steve Nash named to 8th NBA All-Star Game
Go figure with NBA coaches. A year ago, Western Conference coaches passed on Steve Nash in the All-Star voting when he was playing for a sub-.500 Suns team but was leading the NBA in assists and shooting better than any NBA guard. This year, the same formula made Nash an All-Star for the eighth time in his career. Nash, 38, will become the oldest point guard to play in the NBA All-Star Game after being named a reserve for the Feb.26 game in Orlando.

Phoenix Suns fall at home to Houston Rockets
Steve Nash re-entered the game midway through the fourth quarter and gave the Suns the lead with his first touch, a driving layup. From there, everything is supposed to go well at home, but not this season. The home-court disadvantage has made US Airways Center feel about as comfortable to the Suns as a dentist's chair. The Suns went the final six minutes of Thursday night's game with one field goal -- another Nash drive -- and ended their only three-game win streak of the season with a 96-89 loss to the Houston Rockets.

Coyotes beat Flames in overtime for fourth straight win
Games that could be best described as haphazard are not much fun for players or coaches. What made it tolerable for the Coyotes was a victory, and at this stage of the season, no matter how the result is achieved, the points are invaluable for a team trying to ensure itself a playoff spot. Shane Doan's power-play goal in overtime gave the Coyotes their fourth win a row, 2-1 over the Calgary Flames in front of 10,048 at Jobing.com Arena on Thursday night.

ASU basketball edges Utah in Pac-12 play
The turnovers were too high, and its will to finish off an opponent left much to be desired. But at this point in the schedule, Arizona State isn't in position to nitpick. As painful as Thursday night's 57-52 victory over Utah might have been to watch, the Sun Devils took it without apology.

Arizona Wildcats basketball gets third straight Pac-12 win
Arizona rejiggered roles from a season ago, shifting players to new positions and responsibilities without Derrick Williams to rely on. Three months into the season, the Wildcats are finally starting to feel comfortable with who they are and where they're supposed to be -- and it couldn't have come at a better time. Jessie Perry scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half, Solomon Hill had 16 points and 14 rebounds, and Arizona grinded out a confidence-continuing 71-57 win over Colorado on Thursday night.

Barkley rips Nash All-Star selection - ArizonaSports.com
Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash just turned 38 years old, and is arguably playing at a level as high or higher than when he won two straight league MVP awards from 2004 to 2006. Nash is shooting 56% from the field and is leading the league in assists despite playing on a team that is ranked 15th in the NBA in field goal percentage (.445). Western Conference coaches recognized Nash's play, and despite the Suns' sub-.500 record, picked the 16-year veteran as a reserve for this year's NBA All-Star Game in Orlando February 26. One outspoken analyst took exception with Nash's inclusion.
