In what comes as little surprise to anyone, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks are officially out of the Peyton Manning Race.
At one point it was believed that Seattle would be a perfect landing spot for Manning because of their young and talented line, and some good looking receivers on the outside. Since then they have contacted Manning's camp to get an interview with the Future Hall of Famer, but to no avail. As of now the front runners are our own Arizona Cardinals, and someone who may come as a bit of a surprise to many fans, the Denver Broncos. Miami is apparently having their meeting with Manning today, but their spot on Mannings list has fallen since Denver has jumped into the fray.
A team to watch would be the Tennessee Titans in my opinion. They jumped in yesterday, and will try to get a meeting with Manning. He has stated several times that he will only sign with a team that he's had a meeting with, so they will try to get one in by Tuesday. Adam Schefter, as well as Jason La Canfora, do not expect a meeting between the two parties to fall through, but Titans Owner, Bud Adams, promises to have a meeting between the two. This may interfere with Mannings Tuesday deadline to have a team chosen, but in the NFL, anything is possible.
