Report: Jake Scott, Other Offensive Linemen Visiting Arizona Cardinals Today

According to Darren Urban, the Arizona Cardinals are bringing in three separate offensive linemen for visits today. The three free agents include: Jake Scott, Demetrius Bell and Adam Snyder.

If you recall, we asked RotB readers about 2 of these 3 players during the offensive line portion of our free agency series. Apparently, the Cards had some of the same thoughts on their minds as well. Let's see what each of these players could potentially bring to the team after the jump.

If the Cardinals were to sign Jake Scott, they would be not only getting a solid guy to play at right guard, but they would also be fanning the Manning fire. Scott once played alongside Manning in Indianapolis with the Colts. Also, by getting Scott, the tenure of Deuce Lutui as a Cardinal would likely come to an end. Rex Hadnot would move to a reserve position and Scott would immediately be pushed into the starting role.

Demetrius Bell is another intriguing option. The hulking left tackle is mostly known for his ability to protect the passer, which is something that the Cardinals are in dire need of. After releasing Levi Brown, the team only has one tackle under contract, so they will need to address the position via free agency or the draft whether they would like to or not. Bell could be one big step towards a solid line.

As for Adam Snyder, he can play both the guard and tackle positions. He became the starting right guard for the 49ers last season, but played poorly in 2011. Pro Football Focus gave him a -26.5 overall grade for his ability to pass and run block. In all, he allowed 2 sacks, 6 QB hits and 34 pressures last season. If the Cardinals have serious interest in him, I cannot see him actually starting over some of the other options they already have on the roster. He would likely be obtained for reserve purposes.

With the news of these three players visiting, which ones would you like to see the Cardinals sign? Any of them? All of them? Tell us in the comments section below.
