Today marked the beginning of OTA's. The Cardinals were the only team to have all players (from what I have seen) at OTA's.
There were a few players who were unable to practice because they are recovering from surgeries, Beanie Wells, Ryan Williams, and Jeff King being those guys. Jeff King was a surprise injury. Darren Urban was told he suffered a partial quadriceps tendon tear recently at the facility and had a surgery to repair it. Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams are still rehabbing from their knee surgeries, so no surprise there.
One guy who did surprise me was Greg Toler. He suffered his injury (ACL Tear) one game after Ryan Williams. It's not as bad an injury but it's still impressive. He was limited in his work. And finally, Cardinals 5th round pick Senio Kelemente was unable to attend because the University of Washington is still in session.
This isn't really important but the lineup today was intriguing. William Gay was working with the 'top unit' which included Patrick Peterson. Bridges was playing with the 'top unit', Kolb was the top unit QB, and Andre Roberts was playing the top 'WR' spot with Fitzgerald, followed by Doucet and Demarco Sampson at the two spot, and Michael Floyd and Stephen Williams in the final spot.
It seemed to be a good practice from the interviews that followed. Campbell seemed happy to be with the team, Kolb's footwork seemed much improved (granted there was no blitz in his face) and Floyd made some nice grabs.
One a non football note... We have the Coyotes playing the LA Kings tonight in game 5 of the NHL Western Conference Finals. So lets keep rooting for them.
