Time for todays links, with a focus on all of the stuff the Cards are doing now that they are back in the facility.

Arizona Cardinals News:Arizona Cardinals heavy on cornerback competition
As far as surprises go, an NFL team drafting a cornerback in the third round doesn't usually cause a change in anyone's vital signs. But it was eye-opening last weekend when the Cardinals selected Oklahoma cornerback Jamell Fleming there, adding to a line of cornerbacks that already stretched out the locker-room doors. Patrick Peterson is the only one in the line with a secure starting job. The position on the opposite side of the field is open, and the Cardinals are going through an intense search process to fill it.

Cardinals: One big question - NFC West Blog - ESPN
Can the Arizona Cardinals' defense maintain the growth it showed late last season, outpacing whatever gains the San Francisco 49ers make on offense?
Word From the Birds Blog | Getting some work in
The Cardinals are in phase two of their offseason work, which includes time spent with coaches on the field with their positional units (save for a little bit of time when the QBs can throw passes to the receivers, tight ends and running backs). No helmets, against air, but after an offseason without any of it, it’s welcome. Right now is about fundamentals, whether it is dropping into coverage for the defensive backs, coming off the snap the right way for the offensive and defensive lines, or running the right routes to catch a pass. It’s about repetition.
Arizona Cardinals threaten to sue Glendale over parking
The Arizona Cardinals are a step closer to suing cash-strapped Glendale over the loss of about 3,200 parking spots near the NFL stadium that workers demolished to build an outlet mall.
Questions (& Answers) about Cards' O-line - ArizonaSports.com
When the Cards draft offensive linemen? People talk. When the Cards don't draft offensive linemen? Fans talk non-stop. (Think = Skip Bayless). But before you continue to re-enact "A Few Good Men" with the guy in the neighboring cubicle (Hanrahan: "You want answers? You: "I want the truth!"), let's go to the source and see if we can handle the truth from the O-line Coach of the AZ Cardinals. Yes, Paulie Q&A convinced Hall of Famer Russ Grimm to address a few questions simmering on the front-burner:

Phoenix Suns exec Lon Babby cautious over utilizing cap space
As much as he hopes that two years of retaining flexibility will pay off this summer, Babby warned that the Suns might not use their salary-cap space if it is not prudent. After missing the playoffs in successive seasons for the first time in 24 years, the Suns might ask for more patience rather than misspend or make decisions that don't fit the goal of becoming a team that annually competes for championships. The Suns will have a league-high $23 million in cap space that could be used to sign free agents in July or make a one-sided trade that takes on salary.

Report: Brad McCoy’s comments sealed Colt’s fate in Cleveland | ProFootballTalk
After Browns quarterback Colt McCoy suffered an obvious (to everyone but the Browns) concussion during a Thursday night game against the Steelers in December 2011, McCoy’s father, Brad, called out the Browns for failing to keep Colt out of the game. At the time, I feared the Browns would hold those comments against Colt. According to Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com, they have.
Kurt Warner would prefer his sons not play football | ProFootballTalk
Yesterday’s two big stories in the NFL, the suspensions of four Saints for their roles in the team’s bounty program and the suicide of Junior Seau, have one future Hall of Famer wondering if playing football is worth it. Kurt Warner said on the Dan Patrick Show that the idea of his sons playing football "scares me," and he thinks the risk of injuries is serious enough that his preference would be that his boys not play.
Kurt Warner clarifies his comments, says he’d "love" his sons to play football | ProFootballTalk
On Thursday’s Dan Patrick Show, former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner said that he doesn’t want his children to play football. "There’s no question in my mind," Warner said regarding his preference that they don’t play. On Thursday’s NBC SportsTalk, former NFL receiver Amani Toomer said that Kurt should keep any negative views regarding the sport to himself, given what he has gained from the sport that, in Toomer’s view, Warner is now trying to "trash." On Thursday’s Hill and Schlereth on ESPN Radio, Warner clarified his comments — ultimately saying that he’d actually "love" for his kids to play football.
