Time for todays links as the slow part of the offseason drudges on.

Larry Fitzgerald is staying out of the Cardinals quarterback decision | ProFootballTalk
Larry Fitzgerald wanted the Cardinals to draft Michael Floyd and he’s happy that they wound up doing his bidding. In an interview with KTAR in Arizona, via SportsRadioInterviews.com, Fitzgerald raved about the way the rookie receiver looked during offseason work. Fitzgerald called Floyd a "strong and physical" receiver who he thinks will be part of a receiving corps that will be "a force to be reckoned with when we open up." For that to happen, the Cardinals will need to settle on a quarterback. Kevin Kolb and John Skelton will resume their battle during training camp and Fitzgerald is planning on staying out of it.

QBs, beware the mighty NFC West (in 2015) - NFC West Blog - ESPN
Sam Acho, Arizona Cardinals: Acho had seven sacks as a rookie last season. That included four sacks on first down, most in the division and the 12th-highest total in the NFL (he ranked 39th in total sacks). Williamson did not consider Acho because he did not see "special qualities" in the second-year outside linebacker.

Arizona Sports News:

Arizona Wildcats win national title with win over South Carolina Gamecocks
Brandon Dixon's tie-breaking double started a three-run ninth inning for Arizona, and the Wildcats won their first national title since 1986 with a 4-1 victory over two-time defending champion South Carolina on Monday night.

Wait for Arizona Diamondbacks prospect Trevor Bauer may be over
The Trevor Bauer watch may be over. Unless the Diamondbacks pull off a shocker, Bauer, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2011 draft, will make his major-league debut Thursday against the Atlanta Braves. The 21-year-old Bauer was pulled from his start Sunday at Triple-A Reno after 50 pitches and 22/3 innings, leading to speculation he'll get the start Thursday in Atlanta place of the injured Joe Saunders. Manager Kirk Gibson wouldn't commit to Bauer after Sunday's 5-1 win over the Chicago Cubs. He said the club had to pull him "to keep him under consideration. We'll make that decision, but we don't have to do it until Thursday."

Getting to the quarterback early and often - NFC West Blog - ESPN
With the Seattle Seahawks' defense looking to apply greater pressure on early downs in particular, according to 710ESPN Seattle, I thought it might be interesting to check out 2011 sack totals by down. Those more interested in looking at pictures than reading words can skip right to the charts. I won't hold it against them.
