Just as soon as the Cardinals get their first victory of the preseason, they are already having to turn around and play another game. They are headed to Tennessee on Thursday night to take on the Titans.
We know about the injury to Levi Brown and him likely being out for the season with a triceps tear. But what about the other players on the Cardinals roster? Well, for the most part, it seems they should have most everyone ready to go in a couple of days.
After missing a of couple weeks due to an ankle issue, Paris Lenon finally returned to practice on Monday, according to Darren Urban. It will be interesting to see how he is fit into the depth chart with his return. Reggie Walker has been playing lights out in nickel situations. Stewart Bradley, Lenon's primary replacement, has also played quite well himself. At this point, I would like to see him take over permanently, but I would assume they bring Lenon back slowly anyhow.
Also, Todd Heap left practice early on Monday. There was some cause for concern at first after hearing he had to get on a cart, but apparently, it was just a stinger. He should be fine for Thursday's game.
Rashad Johnson and wide receiver Early Doucet sat out practice on Monday as well. They are probably just resting minor injuries and I would expect them to both play on Thursday, but that is only speculation.
Lastly, Greg Toler is having a bunch of knee issues again. Darren Urban noted that it is his left knee, the same one that he tore the ACL in, that is acting up once again. Apparently each knee keeps getting more sore as they try to compensate for the other being injured. It's really a vicious cycle. I would doubt he plays vs. the Titans.
