Which Free Agent (Or Possible Free Agent) Quarterbacks Make The Most Sense For The Arizona Cardinals?

With Kevin Kolb and John Skelton still fighting to see who will get the starting job in Arizona, there has been plenty of chatter about the Cardinals possibly adding another veteran to the mix. Names like Tarvaris Jackson have been thrown around, but he was just traded to the Bills. Then you have the always included Donovan McNabb, who I still don't think will ever play in the NFL again.

After that, the options continue to get slimmer. But with teams having to cut their roster down to 53 soon, some more players will be hitting the waiver wires. Who might some of the quarterbacks soon to be released be and how could they fit with the Cardinals?

Find out after the jump.

The first guy that comes to my mind and would be my choice is Matt Moore. Moore is still a Dolphin currently and he could remain one, but for all intents and purposes, let's assume he gets cut. Ryan Tannehill is the starter and the future there, so Moore would just be a backup. In Arizona, he could come in and compete and I have always seen some nice plays and potential from him.

With T-Jax heading to Buffalo, it seems that Vince Young might be a free agent soon as well. Many aren't a fan of VY, but his record speaks for itself. He was pretty successful as the starting QB for the Titans, but his drama and weird actions got in the way. With some guidance and good coaching, could he be the guy for the Cards? That is definitely an option at this point.

Another avenue the Cardinals could look down is Moore's current teammate, David Garrard. It seems that either him or Moore will be cut and they will definitely find a home elsewhere. Arizona provides the best chance for them to work their way up the depth chart and possibly become the starter.

All of the aforementioned players are stopgaps, but that is all Arizona needs. With the type of QB play they are getting, they just need someone to step up and do a decent job.

Who would you like to see the Cardinals target? Did I miss anyone? Tell us in the comments section.
