With the current predicament the Arizona Cardinals are in, I wouldn't think it to be wise for people to draft any of their quarterbacks for your fantasy league. Kevin Kolb and John Skelton have both struggled and despite having options like Larry Fitzgerald to throw to, they don't always find a way to produce.
Still, there is one other option for you fantasy football players. Mel Kiper Jr. from ESPN thinks Ryan Lindley might be your go-to-guy. Find out why after the jump.
In his most recent article (Insider), Kiper mentions this about Ryan Lindley:
Ryan Lindley, Arizona Cardinals: There's a lot of development left for Lindley, but he has an NFL arm and can drill the ball into tight spots. He worked with three coordinators at San Diego State, and some early promise was largely unfulfilled. If he can improve his accuracy, he has the physical tools of a starter in this league. Given the quarterback situation in Arizona, I just hope he doesn't get rushed like some have recently.
It's difficult to argue with Kiper's analysis. We have seen Lindley show off his big arm this preseason and he can throw a tight ball down the seam. Getting him in a keeper league might be a decent idea, but I don't see why you would waste a roster spot as of now.
There is no indication that Lindley could be the guy in the near future. The Cardinals haven't given up on their investment in Kevin Kolb and John Skelton has more experience and a similar style of play to Lindley.
So, yes, Lindley could be the QB of the future. But for now, I wouldn't recommend picking him up in your keeper league. It just seems a bit premature.
