With both the Arizona Cardinals having an extra preseason game this year because they are in tonight's Hall of Fame Game against the New Orleans Saints, no one is going to take unnecessary risks with injuries -- especially the veterans.
As such, there will be a slew of key players for the Cardinals out of the game against the Saints.
The Cards will have 11 players out for the game:
- CB Crezdon Butler (hip)
- DT Darnell Dockett (hamstring)
- DE Nick Eason (family illness)
- CB Marshay Green (hamstring)
- RB Javarris James (abductor strain)
- TE Jeff King (quad -- on PUP)
- LB Zack Nash (ankle)
- RB Beanie Wells (knee -- on PUP)
- RB Ryan Williams (knee)
- WR Stephen Williams (hamstring)
- S Adrian Wilson (calf)
Most of these are nothing new, but Dockett's injury is the first time we have heard of it. With four games still remaining, no one is going to take extra risks, even guys like Green and Stephen Williams, who are battling for a roster spot.
