Bruce Arians bringing Tom Moore, Tom Pratt, lots of experience to staff

Arians' coaching staff shaping up nicely with guys with a track record of good stuff

Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE

The Arizona Cardinals continue to make additions to their coaching staff, and head coach Bruce Arians is making it an experienced staff. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Arians is adding Tom Moore and Tom Pratt to his coaching staff.

Wrote La Canfora:

League sources said Tom Moore, the longtime coordinator and right-hand man to Peyton Manning in Indianapolis, is the Cardinals' assistant head coach-offense. Also, the Cardinals have hired Tom Pratt as a pass-rush specialist. Pratt has deep experience as well -- once serving along side Bill Cowher and Tony Dungy on Marty Schottenheimer's staff in Kansas City.

The Cardinals have several attack-minded defenders, like Calais Campbell, and Arians believes Pratt will help continue to bring out the best in them.

Moore previously was working as a consultant, but XTRA 910's Mike Jurecki tweeted that Moore will be an on-field coach as the the team's assistant head coach/offense.

This is an experienced bunch. Moore is 74 years old and first started his NFL coaching career in 1977.

Pratt is also a man that covers several football eras. He got his first NFL gig joining Hank Stram's staff in 1963.

The Cardinals coaching staff is reportedly complete, but waiting on paperwork to go through. The team has not made any official announcements yet.
