The Arizona Cardinals have targeted former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid as a head coaching candidate. They planned to interview him this week. He was apparently to come to Arizona Wednesday night, but as he met with the Kansas City Chiefs for several hours, original plans apparently changed.
Reported Philly TV journalist Howard Eskin in a tweet:
Andy Reid meeting w KC Chiefs 2day in PHL lasted close to 9 hours and never made it to Arizona.I Was there and looked like meeting went well

Adam Schefter reported that Reid was originally supposed to arrive in Arizona Wednesday night.
Big deal? I wouldn't think so. All he has to do is change his flight and perhaps the meeting time. If the Cardinals are serious about him as a candidate, they will make it work.
Of course, there is the possibility that those Reid to Arizona rumors were forged in an attempt to get KC to move faster.
