Andy Reid cancels interview with Arizona Cardinals

A deal could be coming with the Chiefs soon.

One candidate is reportedly out as a candidate for the head coaching vacancy that the Arizona Cardinals have. According to multiple reports, Reid has canceled his interview with Arizona with the hopes that a deal will be struck withe Kansas City Chiefs to be their new head coach.

It was reported by the Associated Press and ESPN's Chris Mortensen also is saying the same thing.

Where does that leave the Cardinals? They have interviewed defensive coordinator Ray Horton twice, they have permission to interview Steelers OC Todd Haley and have an interview scheduled with Broncos OC Mike McCoy this weekend while Denver is on their playoff bye.

There may also be interest in Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly, who has been in town for the Fiesta Bowl.
