Talking coaching changes and the Arizona Cardinals offseason

Listen to the "Cardinals Underground" podcast and talk about it.

USA TODAY Sports

The theme thus far for the Arizona Cardinals offseason has been change. There is a new general manager, a new VP of Player Personnel, a new head coach and a whole bunch of new coaches. With the changes in leadership, there will be changes in the players as well. The Arizona Cardinals broadcast and reporting crew -- Darren Urban, Ron Wolfley, Dave Pasch and Paul Calvisi -- got together to do the first offseason Cardinals Underground podcast. Take a listen using the embedded player below, or if you need to download the file directly to hear it, click here to download and listen.

The theme was more of what we have discussed on the site. Here are some of the highlights I got from it.

Ron Wolfley: Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles will probably be under more scrutiny than head coach Bruce Arians to have similar success to what was had under Ray Horton. Coordinators don't usually have more pressure than the head coach.

Darren Urban: Kevin Kolb has to have contract restructured, and even then they need someone to back him up. He doesn't believe that Alex Smith is really anything of an upgrade.

Dave Pasch: Absolutely no Matt Barkley. He believes that neither John Skelton nor Ryan LIndley will be on the roster this next season.

What do you think of what they said?
