Chip Kelly's name finally came up connected to the Arizona Cardinals head coaching position. Kelly, who is the head coach of the Oregon Ducks, is the hottest name in college football to land in the NFL. Three teams have already lined up interviews with him, and the Cardinals are currently not one of them. However, they might kick the tires, so to say, according to ESPN's John Clayton.
ESPN John Clayton reported on SportsCenter "Arizona may check in to" re Chip Kelly interviewing for NFL jobs. #browns #eagles #bills

Will this happen? It could be. Team president Michael Bidwill did mention coaches in college when he addressed the press on Monday. However, the only candidate they have actually interviewed is Ray Horton. They have been granted permission to interview Todd Haley and have one lined up for the weekend with Broncos OC Mike McCoy.
Chip Kelly would make the third Pac-12 coach in the NFC West, joining Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh, should be land in Arizona. He is an offensive genius, but he has no NFL experience.
As always, beware of such reports. Clayton seems to be simply speculating. But it wouldn't be a bad idea as it seems everyone else is going to talk to him.
