Cardinals vs. 49ers final score: Turnovers doom Arizona in 32-20 loss

Arizona fell to 3-3 after a 32-20 loss the San Francisco 49ers.

Arizona entered this game as the underdogs, and they played like it... To start and to end. But for the vast majority of the middle portion of the game, Arizona dominated. They controlled the line of scrimmage, Palmer hooked up with his receivers when he needed to... It was the Offense we were all dreaming of... That is until it all came falling down.

Defensively, Arizona had held them to 22 first half points, and were only down a score heading into the third. The opening drive went for a touchdown, a 10 yard pass from Palmer to Floyd. However, instead of going for the simple PAT, Arians drew up a trick play with Patrick Peterson to throw the ball. The attempt failed, but Arizona was only down two.

The next Niner drive was halted, and the Cardinals had a chance to take the lead. They nearly did, but Larry Fitzgerald fumble the ball in the redzone, and that would cap of the game clinching drive, as the Niner went 89 yards in 18 plays, for a Kendall Hunter six yard touchdown run.

Palmer was up to his usual antics in the first half, tossing two picks in the first quarter, which were downed inside the Arizona 20 yard line, but the Niners only came away with field goals on both possessions.

He did however calm down, and would throw a 75 yard strike to Larry Fitzgerald in the second quarter, and then the 10 yard touchdown toss to Michael Floyd.

Arizona committed four turnovers (2 picks 2 fumbles), and allowed a Safety after a Yeremiah Bell picked off a tipped Colin Kaepernick toss.

Arizona now follows up a tough divisional loss (0-2) with a short week and the Seattle Seahawks playing Arizona on Thursday.
