For players and hopefully for fans of both the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers, the biggest concern following the 32-20 win by the Niners is the health of Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell. He suffered a neck injury in the fourth quarter of the contest and had to be carted off on a stretcher wile immobilized.
After news that he had experienced numbness, but that he had movement in all of his extremities and that feeling had begun to return, things are looking better.
After a visit to a hospital, beat writer Kent Somers tweeted that Campbell could be released Sunday night and that he could return home as well.
Campbell himself gave fans a reason to think only in the positive:
I want to give a big thank you for all the support and kind words today. I am feeling good and anxious to return! #appreciatethelove

Now, feeling good and being cleared to play Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks is a completely different story. We are thrilled that he is doing well. It is a relieving evening for Campbell, his family, his team and his brothers throughout the league.
