NFL power rankings,Week 5: Not much love for Cards after their road win

A look at the power rankings from around the Web.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals got a win on Sunday. What does that mean for the media, analysts and experts as they put together their weekly power rankings?

Our own C Deveau dropped the Cardinals two spots despite the victory. They currently stand 23rd in our own site power rankings,

A victory and the Cardinals move down two spots. What gives? Well, I didn't see anything even in the win that equates to moving up the ladder. There's always this week.

Over at the mother site, SB Nation, Ryan Van Bibber has Arizona at number 24.

The Cardinals bounced back from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter for a win over the Bucs on Sunday. Never underestimate a big-armed QB late in the game and Greg Schiano's incompetency.

ESPN gave the Cardinals some love, moving them up three slots to 19 after the win. They do, though, point out a troubling stat.

Larry Fitzgerald hasn't gained more than 80 receiving yards in a game this year. Fitz has two 100-yard games since the start of last year. 39 players have more.

CBS Sports likewise moved up the Cards up. this week they jumped two spots to sit at 19.

The defense came up big against Tampa, especially Patrick Peterson. The offense still has to get it going.

Yahoo!'s list has the Cardinals jumping a lot. Last week they were number 31 after their loss to the Saints. Now, after a win over the Bucs, they are 24th.

What on earth was Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon doing throwing Patrick Peterson's way late in the fourth quarter? Just don't do it. Bad idea.

What are your reaction to the rankings? Who is the most accurate? Who is giving the team the hose job?
