Panthers vs. Cardinals: Which Carolina player would you pick for the Cardinals?

If you could poach one guy from the Panthers, who would it be?

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

After getting a good response last week and also seeing it as a common thread among the other SB Nation sites, as part of our pregame discussion of the Arizona Cardinals and the Carolina Panthers, we ask the question -- which one Panthers player would you poach from his team to add to the Cardinals?

Here are some to think about:

Cam Newton , quarterback

For me, this is the obvious answer. He is a young quarterback with all the makings of a franchise guy. The Cardinals need one of those. He's got the arm to throw the ball down the field in Bruce Arians' offense and big and athletic enough like Ben Roethlisberger and Andrew Luck to hang around the pocket and elude rushers to make big plays down the field.

Who else could we consider?

Jordan Gross, offensive tackle

Gross is in his 11th year in the league, so he is not going to be around forever, but would he not be a good guy to have at left tackle rather than Bradley Sowell?

Star Lotulelei, defensive tackle

This guy is talented. The team was reportedly very high on Star during draft time. He could have been the pick rather than Jonathan Cooper. He is disrupting offensive lines everywhere. He would be a great addition to the the line in Arizona.

Charles Johnson, Greg Hardy, defensive ends

Both are veterans, but not ancient. Johnson is in his seventh season and Hardy is in his fourth. Hardy has three sacks this season and had 11 last season, Johnson? He has two so far this season and 11.5, 9, and 12.5 in the last three. The Cardinals woefully need some pass rushing talent.

Luke Kuechly, linebacker

This guy is a legit game changer. Could you imagine both he and Daryl Washington in the middle of the defense? Downright scary.

Who would be your pick?
