NFL Week 11 inactives, Cardinals vs. Jaguars: Michael Floyd, John Abraham to play for Arizona as expected

A look at who will not be dressing for both teams.

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

The inactive lists for both the Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars are out and there are no real surprises for either team.

For Arizona, both receiver Michael Floyd, who missed practice time and part of last weeks game with a shoulder sprain, and linebacker John Abraham, who missed practice time with a hamstring injury, are both active and will start as expected.

The seven inactives for Arizona are familiar with the list. Receiver Brittan Golden, quarterback Ryan Lindley, linebacker Dontay Moch, tight end Kory Sperry, defensive end Ronald Talley, guard Earl Watford and running back Ryan Williams will not dress for the game. every player has been inactive this season, but only Williams has not been active for any game.

For Jacksonville, the most notable inactive is linebacker Paul Posluszny, who was this week's Defensive Player of the Week. he suffered a concussion and was downgraded on Saturday to out for the game. The Jags defense will mis his playmaking on the field greatly. In addition to Posluszny, receiver Stephen Burton, former Cardinals cornerback Jamell Fleming, defensive end Abry Jones, guard Will Rackley, quarterback Ricky Stanzi and former Cardinals receiver Stephen Williams are inactive for the game.

What this does mean is that former Cardinals wideout Kerry Taylor is active for Jacksonville. No doubt that has something to with his knowledge of the Arizona offense. Will he make an impact? As a fan of him personally, I hope so, but only in a very small fashion -- such as 10 catches and a touchdown in a 49-7 Cardinals win.

Any reactions to the inactives? At this point, there probably is not much sense discussing Ryan Williams. It has been done ad nauseum -- but go ahead.

How much will Posloszny's absence affect the game? We will find out soon.
