Arizona Cardinals podcast: Playoff chances, Carson Palmer, Michael Floyd and reviewing the win over the Jags

Just talking Cardinals on a Tuesday night.

Since it was Tuesday night, it meant another episode of the Revenge of the Birds Radio show. Following the 27-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Arizona Cardinals are officially in the middle of the NFC playoff picture.

Seth and I once again hit the airwaves to talk about the Cardinals.

We took a couple of phone calls, one from a Colts fan in Indy.

We talked about win the win over the Jags and mainly about these topics:

  • With the slow start and the two fairly quick touchdowns by the Jags, just how worried were you about the game?
  • What should we make of the way the defense comes out and gives up yards and then makes adjustments to be completely dominant?
  • Carson Palmer -- can we expect his very consistent play to continue the rest of the season?
  • Is Michael Floyd becoming the team's number one receiver, even with Larry Fitzgerald in the picture?
  • Is the recent production of Floyd and Rob Housler a sign that the offense has finally come around?
  • Just how "in it" are the Cardinals in the playoff race? What will it take to continue?
  • What are our predictions for the game vs. the Colts?
