Thursday Night Football open thread: Saints/Falcons

When the NFL schedulers got together, a Week 12 Thursday night game between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons was likely expected to be a huge game that could determine playoff seeding and the NFC South title for either team. It would be Matt Ryan and Drew Brees.

Well, it is Brees and Ryan, but the Falcons are awful.

It is still fun to watch.

One thing to watch for? Ron Jaworski said that Brees could perhaps set a single game passing record tonight. Since he is always right -- like when he said that Ciolin Kaepernick just might become the best QB ever.
