Monday Night Football open thread: Bears/Packers

Check in here to talk about the final game of Week 9.

USA TODAY Sports

Yes, the Arizona Cardinals started their Week 10 practice after their bye, but the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears are set to play tonight on Monday Night Football.

Whichever team you are really rooting for, it is beneficial to the Cardinals if Chicago wins. That would put the Bears at 4-4, keeping their record even with the Cards in the playoff race. Arizona has to leapfrog three slots currently, and it would always help to have the teams in front of them lose.

You may recognize the quarterback for the Bears -- none other than Josh McCown, who was once a starting QB in AZ. McCown is in place of injured Jay Cutler. He has a tall task, as he must lead Chicago on the road against the Packers.

Which team are you rooting for? What players are on your fantasy team? (I have Brandon Marshall).

In your discussion, please remember to keep these rules in mind.

1. While we allow a bit more when it comes to language, if you can avoid swearing, it would be appreciated.

2. We still do not accept any personal attacks. Be passionate, but don't be out of line.

3. "Rec" your favorite comments.

4. Do not ask for or post links to illegal streaming feeds of the game. Gamecasts, Slingbox, all that is cool. But sharing such links puts the entire network at risk of being shut down. If you do it, the comment will be deleted. If you persist, you will unfortunately be banned.
