The Arizona Cardinals announced on Thursday that the team has placed center/guard Philip Blake on the practice squad injured reserve list (leg) and has signed center Tom Draheim to the practice squad.

Draheim (6-4, 309) spent the preseason with the Kansas City Chiefs after signing with the team as a free agent on April 3. He entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Green Bay Packers in 2012 out of San Diego State. After being cut by the Packers following training camp last year, Draheim spent time on the practice squads of the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars as a rookie.

He spent a week with the Chiefs practice squad this season, but was released on September 10. While at San Diego State, he started 33 games at center, including 30 consecutive starts to end his career and earned first-team All-Mountain West Conference honors as a senior.
