NFL inactives, Week 13: Andre Ellington out, Michael Vick to dress for Cardinals vs. Eagles

Stepfan Taylor will get more time this week.

The Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles have released their seven-man inactive lists for the game today and, while there was talk that rookie running back Andre Ellington would play, he will not dress for the contest in Philadelphia today.

Ellington tweaked his knee in practice on Thursday and sat out Friday. He was hopeful that he would play, but the team went for the more cautious route with their most exciting offensive player.

In his absence, they did not activate Ryan Williams, so the team will go with the running back trio of Rashard Mendenhall, Stepfan Taylor and Alfonso Smith.

We will see if Mendenhall and Taylor will split carries the way Mendenhall and Ellington do, or if Mendy will be that workhorse back, getting 25-30 touches, with only a smathering of Taylor.

The other inactives for Arizona, outside of Ellington and Taylor, are Ryan Lindley, Earl Watford, Dontay Moch, Ronald Talley and Kory Sperry.

For Philadelphia, they will have Michael Vick as the backup to Nick Foles. Matt Barkley is inactive, along with LB Emmanuel Acho, T Dennis Kelly, DB Curtis Marsh, T Matt Tobin, RB Matthew Tucker and S Earl Wolff.
