Cardinals vs. Titans final score: 37-34. Feely wins on overtime kick

Andre Ellington runs and catches and the Arizona Cardinals escape with an overtime victory in Nashville.

Let's face it, we're Arizona Cardinals fans - otherwise we wouldn't be here.

Doesn't make the twisting of the stomach any easier.

Andre Ellington had 10 carries for 71 yards and 4 receptions for 87 yards and Rashard Mendenhall ran for two 1 yard fourth quarter TDs, Antoine Cason had 2 INTS with a TD while Jay Feely had FGs of 25, 41 and the 47 yard winner in overtime as the Cardinals improved to 9-5 on the season with a 37-34 overtime win against the Tennessee Titans (5-9)

The Cardinals threw away a 34-17 lead in the fourth quarter, only to see the Tennessee Titans tie the game in regulation and then get a 41 yard Jay Feely field goal to win in overtime. The victory gave the Cards a guaranteed winning record for the season, best since 10-6 (2009) and kept their postseason aspirations alive with two games left in the season. The Titans have now lost 8 of last 10 while Arizona has won 7 of last 8 while sweeping an interconference division for the first time since 2002.

The Titans forced an extra period with 2 touchdowns from Ryan Fitzpatrick to Micheal Preston and a recovered onside kick in the last 3 minutes of game time. Cason intercepted a Fitzpatrick pass and after a few Mendenhall runs and short Jim Dray pass -  lined themselves up for the 11th career game-winning Feely FG.

The Cardinals travel to 12-2 Seattle next week in what could prove to be a do-or-die situation. Basically calls for the Carolina Panthers to lose their last two games at home to the New Orleans Saints and on the road to the Atlanta Falcons with the Cards taking at least the season-closing home game with the San Francisco 49ers.

Still alive for postseason...
