Cardinals vs. Seahawks results: 5 positives from the huge victory

We're looking at the game with our happy face!

Jonathan Ferrey

Wow, what a win. What a call on the last play of the game. Despite play from Carson Palmer that was neighboring on horrific, the team held it together, gritted it out and came up with big play after big play.

Here are my positives to the game:

Defense, defense, defense

The Cardinals stellar defensive unit held the Seattle Seahawks to 2/13 on third down, 192 total yards on 51 plays, 89 total yards passing, 103 yards rushing and had two turnovers. This was an absolutely stellar performance by the defense. The goal line stand may have been one of the best I have ever seen in a regular season game.

Dansby and Washington

Between the two players they had 13 total tackles, one sack, one tackle for a loss, a pass breakup, three QB hits and an INT. The pair dominated the Seahawks front seven causing havoc.

Calais Campbell

On a team loaded with defensive talent, Campbell is the best of the bunch. Campbell had his name called all day and dominated both the stat sheet and the Seahawks offensive line. He had four total tackles, two sacks, two tackles for a loss and two QB hits. He disrupted the entire Seahawk offense and helped the entire team around him make plays.

Michael Floyd

On the stat sheet Floyd had a bad day with just one catch, but what a catch it was. Beating his man deep and finally getting a catchable ball from Palmer, Floyd came down with a huge TD grab that all but ended the game. It was a huge play but the young WR.

Bruce Arians

I doubted him, I questioned him, for a while there I was losing faith in his decision making. Today Arians had a statement game and shocked the NFL world. Despite four Palmer interceptions and facing a great defense he never wilted, flinched or even yelled (last part is a blatant lie). If Arians does not win Coach of the Year, the award should be cancelled because obviously it means nothing. This was a stellar win by the Cardinals and the coaching staff.
