Rams vs. Cardinals inactives: Carson Palmer, Michael Floyd, Andre Ellington to play

New, comments

No real surprises with the Arizona inactives.

John Geliebter-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams announced their inactive lists for their game here at University of Phoenix Stadium. The biggest question coming in for Arizona was whether or not Carson Palmer would be active and start. He is active and will start, as will receiver Michael Floyd, who dealt with an ankle injury this week.

Rookie running back Andre Ellington, who missed last week's game against the Eagles, will also be active, but he does not start. He will, though, play a significant part of the Cardinals offensive game plan.

The inactive list for Arizona includes a bunch of players that have been there most of the season -- QB Ryan Lindley, RB Ryan Williams, WR Brittan Golden, OLB Dontay Moch, TE Kory Sperry, G Earl Watford and DE Ronald Talley.

For St. Louis, their inactives are C Scott Wells, RB Daryl Richardson, CB Brandon McGee, OT Mike Person, OG Shelley Smith, DT Jermelle Cudjo and DE Gerald Rivers.
